Remote Engine Control & Monitoring
Pumps, wind machines, power units, and generators are just a few of the applications running on controllers. Murphy by Enovation Controls provides the right mix of features for your application — and combined with Ranch Systems telemetry, controlling and monitoring engines has never been easier.

Why Ranch Systems for my remote solution
Most engines can be retrofitted with a modern controller, such as the PowerCore® TEC-10 from Murphy by Enovation Controls. Paired with a Ranch Systems telemetry node, that turns an ordinary engine into one you can watch and run from your phone.
Add-on flow-meter monitoring is available for any flow meter with a pulse or 4–20mA output, so water delivery is tracked alongside engine performance.
How the control works
A Murphy controller connects to a Ranch Systems node over RS-485. The node pulls engine data at regular intervals and delivers it to the online application over cellular. When you start or stop — manually, on a schedule, or by an automated rule reacting to another sensor — the command travels back to the node and to the controller, typically in under a minute.
Engine status current within 5–10 minutes: RPM, temperature, oil pressure, battery, run hours, discharge pressure, and intake level indicators.
Start/stop delay under 5 seconds when pre-programmed, or under a minute ad-hoc, with remote throttling where the controller supports it.
Program auto start/stop based on other sensors and critical conditions — frost, low water, soil moisture — as part of a full irrigation automation solution.
